Shaping Strong Minds and Bodies
Through Jiu-Jitsu
Training is progressive and goal-orientated, allowing teens to develop at their own pace while being challenged in a positive way while training alongside peers and dedicated world class coaches. This programme helps bridge the gap between kids and adult classes. It helps challenge young people, training alongside positive role models in a safe, supportive and structured environment. It helps them grow physically, mentally and socially in a place where they have fun, make friends and feel part of a team.
The result is more than progress on the mats, it is what happens beyond the mats where you will see the true growth and development – students learn to handle adversity, manage emotions, grow in confidence and self-belief, becoming leaders within their peer groups and grow as young adults.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Team Torres Derry gives teens a sense of identity, purpose and belonging during a time when confidence can feel fragile.
Real Self-Defence. Real Confidence.
Real Peace of Mind.
As a parent, nothing matters more than your child’s safety.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is widely regarded as one of the most effective self-defence systems in the world, focusing on control, awareness, and de-escalation rather than aggression.
Your child learns:
- How to stay calm in stressful situations
- How to protect themselves if needed
- How to avoid confrontation whenever possible
And because classes are supervised by experienced professionals, safety is always the priority.
- No chaos.
- No ego.
- Just progress.
